Are you on tea duty?
Don't forget to check the tea duty rosta to see when it is your turn to make the tea (not forgetting the coffee drinkers). If you can't make the evening you are assigned, then please let Dave Hastings know and we can re-arrange.

I found this, I think you will all find it interesting

"We hope you enjoyed our last video 'Mixing Flash and Ambient Part 1'

Now It's time to take these techniques outdoors with the imaginatively named 'Mixing Flash and Ambient part 2'.

This new video has some great tips for using flash outdoors to help your images stand out against others.

Also check out 'Flash Duration and Sync Speed' which is refered to in both videos. It covers the basics of why fast flash durations are important and why your camera probably can't use flash at all shutter speeds."

I'm an avid watcher of the Adobe web site, particularly Adobe labs where they showcase new technologies and beta tests of new products.

Well I found Kuler; it's fascinating! Ever wanted to create a set of complementary colours for a project? Well if you do Kuler is the place to go. It has a number of themes each with a set of complementary colours and all the values (RGB etc) that you need to use them. What' s more you can modify those themes or even create your own. In built into the interface are a set of rules to automatically create the complementary colours from the base colour you have chosen.

Have a look it was great fun. Try Kuler now ›
