Redeye Email Update - January 2010
Twitter - http://twitter.com/RedeyeNetwork
*****
Welcome to the first Redeye newsletter of 2010 - and dear readers, I'm afraid this is also my last email update for Redeye (see the kind words below). Redeye have given me special dispensation to write a personal note at the start of this Update so I'd just like to say a big thank you to all our subscribers for your attendance and involvement with Redeye events over the eight years I've been with the organisation. I've been lucky enough to meet and work with some very talented people since I've been here and am glad to have been part of some great events and projects.
I should also say thanks to everyone who has put up with my ludicrous introductions to these Updates in the last few years - and to the Redeye team for letting me get away with writing copy that sometimes only vaguely connects to the world of photography. I know some of the puns have been very bad and I seem to remember getting Terminator metaphors in too recently. Sorry about that.
Best of luck to you all with your creative endeavours - Redeye has lots of exciting things planned this year, so do keep watching your inboxes for future Updates. And so for the final time - pour yourself a wee dram, stick the kids / workmates on mute and settle down for a quiet read...
Richard Evans
