Stockport Photographic Society was founded in 1890 and is composed of photographers of all levels and interests. We meet every Tuesday at 7.30pm, apart from our summer recess in July and August.
When we're not on a photoshoot, we meet at:
St. George's Church Meeting Rooms
Our meetings programme includes talks on many subjects, as well as practical workshops, image surgeries, photoshoots and competitions (between members and against other clubs). There's also time to socialise and chat about photography.
New members are welcome, however (in-)experienced in photography. A fancy camera is not a requirement. Anyone interested in joining us is cordially invited to come along to meetings, or contact us if you prefer.
Here are some maps to help you find us. The Meeting Rooms are on a gated private road, off the A6 Buxton Road. Just look for the huge church with a spire.
