Stockport Photographic Society was founded in 1890 and is one of the oldest photographic societies in the country.

We meet on most Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the

St. George's Church Rooms,
Buxton Road,
Stockport SK2 6NX

The programme includes photography illustrated talks by lecturers on various subjects, as well as practical evenings, competitions for members and against other clubs. There are also opportunities to discuss photographic problems with other members.

Outings are arranged from time to time.

New members are always welcome, however inexperienced in photography.  Anyone interested in joining the society is cordially invited to come to one of the meetings, or to contact us using the details in the Contact Us option above.
