‘Welcome to Waylandscapes’ by Gary Waidson

Gary Waidson (also known as ‘Wayland’) is an award-winning fine art landscape photographer, focussing on Britain and Scandinavia.
In this talk, Gary will not only show a number of landscapes, but will also tell you about the site and how and why he took the photographs. Many of the landscapes involve merging a number of images. His winning entry in the Outdoor Guide section of the 2016 Landscape Photographer of the year competition involved taking over 100 photographs over several hours to produce the one final image.
A talk not to be missed if you love the environment and/or photography.
This event is part of Stockport Photographic Society's Spring into Photography series of events around its 125th Annual Exhibition at Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery, Saturday 15th April 2017 – Tuesday 30th May 2017. Admission is free to exhibition & all events.
